Announcements - Tuesday, April 25, 2017

I often hear from people about 'young people these days' and how the "kids" of this generation are often entitled, mouthy, and self-absorbed. I want to say loudly & clearly that HAS NOT been my experience with the youth group from St. Patrick's and junior high/high school students from St. Mary's. I cannot tell you how many times in the last couple of weeks I have asked for them to help - whether it be running boxes up & down stairs, hauling things to the KC Hall, putting together bulletins, working the kitchen for Vegas Night, cleaning up from events, loading & unloading vehicle, decorating for events, &/or cleaning up things at the Parish Center --- and I have not heard a single complaint. They come in & ask "what can I do", they do just what I ask, and they smile at me coming and going. I am not sure you all hear it very often, but students - youth - I am very proud of you & grateful for each of you. You are the light of Christ shining in this world, you are His hands & feet - and I have a pretty good feeling He is pretty darn proud of you all too. I, for one, think that our future is in very good hands. THANK YOU!

Thursday, April 27th: Boys Golf at Hartington. Boys Golf at O’Neill (West Holt/Ewing Triangular) – 4:00 p.m. Boyd County Track Invite (JH/HS) at O’Neill – 9:00 a.m. Norfolk Classic - 4:15 p.m.

All Steubenville money is due to Vitoria no later than Friday, April 28th. The $50 deposit has already been paid by everyone - it is the next $240 that is due. If you have any questions, talk to Vitoria.

Saturday, April 29th: Boys Golf (JV) at Pierce – 9:00 a.m. (leave at 6:45 am). Boys Golf at Atkinson – 9:00 a.m. (leave at 7:15 am). NVC JH/HS Track Invite at West Holt – 9:00 a.m. (leave at 8:10 am).
