Congratulations to Claire Everitt who placed 9th at districts with a 101, which qualified her individually for the state golf tournament. The team placed 2nd with a 420 and they will be headed to state golf next week.

Today: No JH Band. Pierce Competition HS Band – 12:30 p.m.

There are 2 t-shirt orders placed with the Cheerleaders that did not have a name on the order form. If you haven’t received your order, please check with Brenda at the Grade School Office.

  • Terry Miles will be at the school for the homecoming candidate photo. All senior boys need to wear a shirt and tie. All senior girls need to wear an appropriate dress.

Thursday, October 5th: Volleyball (A) at Stuart Double Triangular – 4 p.m. (bus leaves at 3:15 pm). Cross County (JH/HS) Mid-States at Norfolk – 4:30 p.m. (students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm). Football at SMH with Bloomfield – 7:00 p.m. Siena House has Concessions.

This week is the "First Friday," so Fr. Knecht will offer Mass in the school chapel this Friday @ 7:30am. Teachers and students are invited.

Friday, October 6th: Cardinal Pride Day.

Saturday, October 7th: JH Volleyball Tournament at Riverside (Cedar Rapids) – 9:00 a.m. (bus leaves at 6:40 am). JH Cross Country State Meet at Papillion South – Noon.

Sunday, October 8th: Homecoming Kick-off at 7:00 p.m. with cheers in the church parking lot, followed by Bonfire at 7:30 p.m., wrapping up around 9:00 p.m.

Students please remember that socks are required on both regular days and Cardinal Pride days.

All junior high & high schools students are encouraged to help sell raffle tickets for the upcoming Parish Auction. This is the largest fundraiser all year for both the school & parish. Tickets can be picked up from Jennifer in the Parish Office - ALL tickets, even unsold, must be returned to Jennifer by October 30. To sweeten the pot -- you can win CASH for helping out. Whoever sells the most tickets will win $100, 2nd will receive $75, 3rd will receive $50, and 4th will receive $25. (Tickets include the Husker suite, Ipad, TV, and freezer with meat. Car tickets can only be sold by those 18 & older.)
