Mrs. Schneider has the new John Greene book in the library ready for check-out. John Greene is the author of The Fault in Our Stars. His new book is called Turtles All the Way Down. Stop in and see her if you want it, and she'll fix you up.
The Cheerleaders have hidden twelve rubber ducks throughtout the school. Each person is allowed to find 1 duck per day. One duck has a mark on the bottom. If you find this duck, bring it to Mrs. Crumly at the Office and you will get a prize.
The Football team is selling vector auto graphics. They are $15.00 and there are only 36 available. Please bring money to Coach Allen and he will give you the graphic and information on how to apply the graphic. Money raised will go toward replacing helmets.
Choir practice on Thursday, October 12th from 12:35 to 1:05 p.m. Choir students will be dismissed for lunch at 12:15 p.m.
Thursday, October 12th: Homecoming Week – Disney Character Day. State Softball at Hastings. District Cross Country at O’Neill – 3:30 p.m. Volleyball (A) at SMH with Ewing – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 12 – 6th period JH/HS students will practice for their Homecoming skits that will be presenting Friday morning. Students will meet with the teachers in the rooms below to practice their skits.

Friday, October 13th: Homecoming Week – Cardinal Pride Day. All School Mass – 8:10 a.m. 9:00 a.m. – Senior Did You Know/Cardinal Olympics. 10:15 a.m. – Pep Rally. 11:00 a.m. Booster Club Cook-out. Noon Dismissal. End of 1st quarter. Football at SMH with North Central – 7:30 p.m. Senior Night.
Saturday, October 14th: Homecoming Dance in Parish Hall 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Boys & Girls Basketball players – on Monday, October 16th eat lunch quick, then come to the Common’s. Kelly from Stadium Sports will be here to show you basketball shoes.

All junior high & high schools students are encouraged to help sell raffle tickets for the upcoming Parish Auction. This is the largest fundraiser all year for both the school & parish. Tickets can be picked up from Jennifer in the Parish Office - ALL tickets, even unsold, must be returned to Jennifer by October 30. To sweeten the pot -- you can win CASH for helping out. Whoever sells the most tickets will win $100, 2nd will receive $75, 3rd will receive $50, and 4th will receive $25. (Tickets include the Husker suite, Ipad, TV, and freezer with meat. Car tickets can only be sold by those 18 & older.)
