Congratulations to the "winners" of the Archdiocese Persuasive Letter Project.

1st place goes to Emma Winklebauer.

2nd place is Ellie Atkeson.

3rd place goes to Kyle Pribil.

The criteria for the 7th gr. project is to take a book and use the novel elements to persuade Mr. Havranek to either put the book in the curriculum or NOT put it in the curriculum.

An outside "judge" is employed to read the letters and determine which are the most persuasive.

Kudos to all of the 7th graders, who did a wonderful job; the judge had difficulty in determining a winner.

Today: Boys Golf at Ord has been moved to Thursday, April 5th.

SMH Track Invite - students please sign up to help at the St. Mary's track meet. The sign-up sheet is in the HS office. Please sign up by Friday, April 6th. Time worked will be added to their House points. Thanks.

Thursday, April 5th: Spring Activity/Sports pictures – 9:00 a.m. Choir practice at church – 12:30 p.m.

Friday, April 6th: Class B All State Band at Grand Island. ESU#8 K-8 Art Show in Neligh – 10:30am-5pm (at the Fairgrounds).

There is a Prom Sign -up sheet in the office window. ALL students must sign up themselves and their guests. Please put a check mark if you will be attending our dinner and/or grand march. You have until April 6th.

Saturday, April 7th: State History Day in Lincoln. Class B All State Band at Grand Island. ESU#8 K-8 Art Show in Neligh – 10:30am-5pm (at the Fairgrounds).

Sunday, April 8th: Senior Trip. ESU#8 K-8 Art Show in Neligh – Noon – 3 p.m. (at the Fairgrounds).
