Oct 25, 2018 Domestic Violence Awareness Project

Drexel House wants to thank everyone who supported the jeans day project.

$137.00 was raised for Bright Horizons along with a heightened awareness about Domestic Violence.

**Just a Reminder – shorts are not allowed from November 1 through the 1st day of spring.

Monday, October 29th: Volleyball Sub-Districts at West Holt, SMH will play CWC at 6:15 p.m. (bus will leave at 4:40 pm).

Tuesday, October 30th: Psychology classes trip to UNK.

Thursday, November 1: All Saints Day. All School Mass – 8:10 a.m. High School Rosary at church – 3:00 p.m.

The annual Parish Auction will be held on Sunday, November 4th. All 7th-12th grade students are required to help out at the auction. Sign-up sheets were discussed at lunch on Thursday at lunch and will be located in the office for students to sign up for the jobs that they want. 7th Graders will be working with the Home and School's helping serve/clean up the dinner. 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th graders will be choosing to work on Ring Help, Babysitting, Clean Up, and Drive 4UR School Sign Ups. 11th graders will be manning the concession stand as a fundraiser for their class. Please sign up by Wednesday, October 31st. Contact Mr. Havranek with any questions.

***All Houses will be competing for a pizza party and service hours for the Drive 4 UR School sign-ups competition. Sign ups and information were handed out to students on Thursday at lunch. Students need to recruit as many people as they can to come to the Parish Auction and test drive a Ford Vehicle. For every person that test drives a vehicle the school receives $20 to be used towards our technology budget. The House that recruits the most people to sign up AND test drive the vehicles will win the pizza party and service hours. The back of the yellow sign up sheet has all of the information on it. Sign ups are due by the end of the day on October 31st. Contact Mr. Havranek or Jennifer at the Parish Center with any questions

*** Jeremy Camp & Jeremy West Concert in Omaha: Cost for the trip is $50, which includes a concert ticket, transportation, lodging, and two meals. Students will be required to bring money for one meal and extra expenses. Students will depart from St. Mary’s High School at 8:00am on Saturday, November 17 and return to the school on Sunday, November 18 around 3:00pm. Activities during the weekend include: attending the Christian concert, participating in a service project at the Sienna House, attending mass at St. Cecelia’s Cathedral, and shopping or seeing at movie at Westroads Mall. Please see Stephanie for a registration form ASAP. Completed forms with the $50 fee are due November 7.
